Very Busy Dormouse

Meet 'LITTLE G', (G for Gliridae) but don't call him lazy! Everyone thinks he just sleeps all day ... and well, he does sometimes, but only because he's busy dreaming up big ideas. Beautifully illustrated with hand painted watercolour artwork, this children's picture book is written in rhyming text and takes the reader on a humorous and dreamy journey into the world and mind of a hazel dormouse. The book also contains many educational elements, aiming to encourage an interest and understanding of nature and bring attention to this tiny, endangered animal.'Very Busy Dormouse' is the latest collaboration between Heidi Sturgess and Creag McMillian, creators of 'Blooming Verses' and 'Love poems'. Look out for more of their books in 2026.Available in paperback and hardcover.
