Totally Awesome Rides

Revisiting the ’80s and ’90s as a golden age of automotive excess, ambition, and expression.

Neon Rides reintroduces the radical cars of the 1980s and 1990s—once overlooked, now unforgettable. Wedge silhouettes, turbocharged ambition, and design bravado defined an analog era racing toward the digital age. From oddities to cult icons, these machines captured a world in flux and a culture obsessed with identity and speed.

In collaboration with the Petersen Automotive Museum, the book blends crisp studio photography and cultural insight to celebrate a misunderstood chapter of automotive history.
